Situation & Strategy
Prior to implementing Spreadsheet Server, ProMedica used a combination of methods to transfer financial information from their accounting system into Excel. After years of manually imputing data, they desired the ability to dynamically access accounts payable information, and create ad-hoc and monthly reports quickly.
Spreadsheet Server converts Excel into a tightly integrated analytical tool for any ERP system. Users can leverage the strength of their spreadsheets with seamless dynamic integration to their information, along with powerful drilldown capability to the lowest level of detail. It allows users to build a range of reports from simple ad hoc workbooks to complex dashboard-type views of critical business data.
Distribution Manager automates the distribution of reports from Microsoft® Excel.
- Fast implementation and training for intuitive, user-friendly products
- Transformed from manual, time-consuming report generation to automated report distribution
- Less reliance on internal IT
- Unlimited access to Global Software support
In a Nutshell
For ProMedica, Global’s solutions allow them to leverage a live connection from their Lawson database directly into Excel while avoiding duplication of data. This makes it possible to make last minute changes to any report, by any user, at any time. Spreadsheet Server is currently being used for flash reporting, statistical reporting, audit footnote compilation and 990 reporting.Download PDF - 137.76 KB
